According to a 2024 survey published in Good to Know, 63% of single parents believe they’ll never find love again, but most actually do, in little time, at that. More than half (53%) shared they were afraid of another heartbreak, and 40% worried that their child or children might not want a new person in their life. Others just didn’t have the time or energy to meet and date new people.
However, 64% of the 600 single parents surveyed had found a new partner, with most doing so just over a year after their separation. More than a quarter (26%) said realizing their self-worth had brought them back on the dating scene, and 14% shared their children had actually helped them get dates, including by supporting their quest for love.
Busy parents will enjoy these romantic getaways, whether they’re single and looking for a new love or have recently met someone and want to travel with them.
